As part of the activities of the project “Viaducts, bridges and railways across the Brenner. Engineering works in twentieth-century Trentino” financed by the CARITRO Foundation, the Foundation ing. Lino Gentilini organizes a seminar in which two of the main aspects related to the heritage and culture of engineering design and implementation will be addressed.
Miles Oglethorpe, President of TICCIH and Miguel Alvarez Areces, President of INCUNA, will illustrate the international panorama before addressing, more specifically, the issues of conservation, description and digitization of the project document with Luciano Sassi and the archivists of the Foundation ing. Lino Gentilini, Francesco Antoniol and Roberto Marini.
Silvia Filz and Roberta Re will bring attention to the contemporary archaeological heritage of Trentino, illustrating the SEDOTTIeABANDONATI project, followed by the final considerations on the state of the art by Fabio Campolongo of the Architectural Heritage Office of the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage and Activities of the Province of Trento.
The event is sponsored by the Order of Engineers of the Province of Trento which issues 4 CFP to participants in attendance.
ANAI Italian National Archives Association, also sponsoring the event, intends to undertake an information and monitoring process for the understanding and implementation of innovative descriptive tools and good practices for the description of the structural engineering design document.
